Why you should consider Charity For Israel?

Approximately 8.3 percent of Israeli families experience food insecurity at some point. Food insecurity is described as a family’s inability to access or cook nutritious meals that match their nutritional needs in terms of both quality and quantity. Food insecurity can also be the outcome of long-term financial troubles. Nearly 10% of the world’s population is impacted by food insecurity.

Putting our hearts into our work is what drives us

Meir Panim is working to assist the 10.6% of the population that are food insecure. Charity For Israel interacts with local communities and does everything in its ability to meet their food demands in order to ensure local communities’ food security. This is due to our strong commitment to philanthropy in Israel. The eating centers of Meir Panim are open to everyone. Every day, hundreds of people come to our dining facilities to enjoy hot, savory meals delivered by a server in a restaurant-like setting.

Help Israeli Charities and Humanitarian Causes by donating

In lockdowns and during the Covid-19 pandemic, Meir Panim cares for the elderly, children, and anyone who needs assistance. We grew closer to the hungry and heartbroken people as the others kept their distance in order to save their lives. We decided to keep our Or Akiva branch open on Fridays despite the fact that the branch is not ordinarily open on Fridays. Our Shabbat meals, challah, and candles made everyone’s Shabbat enjoyable!
